We started because good software kept arriving late and broken

In 2017, our founders were contract engineers watching the same pattern repeat: a Nepali business would commission a system, wait eight months, and receive something that solved the wrong problem. The gap was rarely talent. It was process, context, and accountability.

CT Tech Nepal was built to close that gap. We start inside your operation, not in a slide deck. We prototype early enough that the wrong direction costs weeks instead of quarters. And we hand over code you can actually maintain.

Eight years on, that means logistics platforms moving 340 vehicles, health records in 18 rural clinics, and digital wallets used by people holding a smartphone for the first time. The technology changes. The discipline does not.

Thapathali, KathmanduNepal + international clients

Our mission

To make paperless, efficient digital operations the default for every organisation in Nepal — not a privilege reserved for those who can afford international consultancies.

Our vision

A Nepal where a district office can access the same quality of software as a bank in Singapore — and where the engineers who build it are here, building the next generation of local capability.

100%

Code ownership

98%

Retention

Four principles we do not trade away

These are not wall posters. They shape which projects we take and how we run them.

Craft over volume

We take on fewer engagements than we could so that each one gets senior attention from start to finish.

Radical transparency

Weekly written updates, shared boards, and honest bad news delivered early. No polishing the status report.

Build local capability

Every engagement includes knowledge transfer. We would rather leave your team capable than dependent.

Global standard, local context

International engineering practice applied to Nepali connectivity, payment rails, and regulatory realities.

Eight years, one direction

A short history of how a two-person desk became a 32-person studio.

  1. 2017

    Two engineers, one rented desk

Started in Jhamsikhel building custom inventory software for a single Kathmandu distributor.

  2. 2019

    First enterprise platform

Delivered a multi-branch ERP for a national distribution group, replacing 12 disconnected spreadsheets.

  3. 2021

    Mobile practice launched

Built the wallet and ride-hailing products that taught us how to engineer for low bandwidth and mid-range devices.

  4. 2023

    Health and public sector work

Deployed offline-first clinical records across 18 rural clinics — the project that shaped our sync architecture.

  5. 2025

    32 people, 120+ projects

Now a full product studio with design, engineering, and DevOps under one roof in Thapathali.

Senior engineers, not account managers

You will meet the people doing the work in week one. They stay on the project until launch.

Bring us the problem. We will bring the plan.

Tell us where your operations slow down. In one call we will map the likely causes, the technical options, and what a realistic first phase looks like — no obligation, no sales script.
